SERVICES TO COMPANIES OR ADMINISTRATION

The CIDSAV offers services to:
- Pesticide industry
- Plant nurseries and seed production companies
- Fruit, vegetable, olive, vineyard and nut fruit production cooperatives and private companies, including stages of field production, post-harvest storage and commercialization of fresh products.
- Administration, Universities and Research Institutions
 
The type of services provided by the Centre are:

     
  • Identification of causal agents of plant diseases by means of microbiological, serological and molecular techniques.
  
  • Development and efficacy testing of fungicides, bactericides, plant growth promoters, fertilizers, both chemical and biological. Tests include in vitro, ex vivo, in planta and field assays.
  
  • Advise in integrated crop production programs, scheduling of phytosanitary treatment and disease control strategies.
  

 
The centre has established several collaborative agreements with research and development institutions and private companies to complete a wide range of services covering most part of plant health.
The center has advanced equipment and resources for laboratory and field work to carry out the projects and services offered to the industry including Molecular Biology lab, Plant Pathology lab, Analytical lab, Environment Controlled Chambers and Greenhouses.
