The Centre for Innovation and Development in Plant Health (CIDSAV) is dedicated to research, technology transfer, training and consulting in detection, identification and control of pathogens causing plant diseases.

The CIDSAV is a centre located at the University of Girona which pertain to the Innovation and Technology Network (X-IT) from the Business Innovation and Development Centre (CIDEM) set up by the Catalan government. Actually, the CIDSAV has obtained certification in a quality system based on ISO and EFQM systems in order to ensure our customers the highest standards of service. The CIDSAV is a member of the Centre of Reference of Food Technology (CeRTA) of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
